The Role

Job Title: Admissions Advisor

Reporting to: Head of Admissions

Admissions Process Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries from prospective parents, providing accurate and detailed information about the school, curriculum, admissions processes, and entry requirements.

• Manage the entire admissions process, from the initial inquiry and application submission to acceptance and enrolment.

• Organize and facilitate school tours, open days, and assessments for prospective families, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.

• Work closely with academic staff to coordinate entrance assessments, interviews, and the communication of admission decisions.

• Communicate admission decisions promptly and professionally, addressing any follow-up questions from families.

Parent and Student Engagement

• Build strong relationships with prospective families, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the admissions process.

• Offer personalized support to families regarding visa processing, regulatory registration, and necessary documentation.

• Provide insights into the school’s academic programs, facilities, and extracurricular activities to assist families in making informed choices.

Data Management and Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inquiries, applications, and admissions within the school’s Management Information System (MIS).

• Generate and analyze admissions data reports, including inquiry trends, enrolment rates, and retention statistics.

• Assist in forecasting student numbers and preparing reports for leadership and regulatory entities.

Compliance and Policies

• Ensure that all admissions processes comply with local regulations and the school’s policies.

• Handle sensitive student and family information with professionalism and in accordance with data protection laws.

Marketing and Outreach

• Support the school’s marketing team in promoting admissions events and initiatives, including tours, open days, and parent engagement activities.

• Represent the school at exhibitions, events, and fairs to attract prospective families and enhance the institution’s visibility within the community.

• Provide feedback on marketing strategies based on parent inquiries and admissions trends.

Collaboration and Teamwork

• Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, finance, and academic staff, to ensure a cohesive approach to admissions.

• Support retention efforts by fostering strong relationships with current families and facilitating transition processes for existing students.

The Person

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

• At least 2-3 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a similar role, preferably within a school or educational environment.

• Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum is advantageous.

• Experience working with diverse families in an international or multicultural context.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and school Management Information Systems (e.g., iSAMS or comparable).

• Fluency in English is essential.
