Position: Senior Leadership

Brookes Moscow, a prestigious international school recognized for its impactful global education, is inviting applications for the role of Programme Coordinator. This senior leadership position entails strategic oversight of the vision, development, and execution of the comprehensive program within the Elementary School.

The Programme Coordinator will spearhead the development, alignment, and quality assurance of the International Primary Curriculum at the institution. This role is essential in maintaining consistent standards, enhancing assessment literacy, and ensuring a smooth progression from Grade 1 to Grade 5, thereby effectively preparing students for their transition to Upper & High School.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the entire curriculum design process, documentation, mapping, and vertical alignment for Grades 1 to 5.

• Guarantee seamless curriculum articulation between Early Years, Lower School, and Middle School to ensure smooth transitions and uniform expectations.

• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback and coaching to staff.

• Lead moderation processes, assessment audits, and student work analysis to maintain consistent academic standards.

• Oversee the effective application of formative and summative assessment tools.

• Support teachers in crafting differentiated instructional strategies for multilingual and diverse learners.

• Develop and deliver workshops on curriculum planning, assessment literacy, data-driven instruction, early literacy/numeracy strategies, behavior management, and inclusive teaching methodologies.

• Mentor new educators, assist with their onboarding, and showcase exemplary teaching and documentation practices.

• Prepare reports for leadership that highlight strengths, trends, and areas needing improvement.

• Ensure grading policies, reporting standards, assessment frameworks, and academic procedures are regularly maintained and updated.

• Act as the academic liaison among teachers, leadership, parents, and students.

• Clarify academic expectations, curriculum pathways, student progress, and school-wide teaching initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Elementary Education, or a related field.

• A Master’s degree in Curriculum Design, Educational Leadership, or a similar area is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in primary education, curriculum leadership, or instructional coaching.

• Experience in international schools or multicultural environments is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of AP curriculum structure and vertical alignment towards AP pathways.

• Expertise in curriculum planning, assessment design, data analysis, and early childhood/primary pedagogy.

• Proven ability to mentor teachers, facilitate professional development, and lead academic initiatives.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and school-wide processes.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.

• Proficiency in English (C1+) with strong communication and presentation abilities.

• Understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and wellbeing frameworks.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
