About This Role
Job Purpose:
To guarantee the safe, punctual, and effective transportation of school personnel while upholding high standards of vehicle safety, cleanliness, and adherence to UAE regulations and school policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate the designated school light vehicle, in line with UAE traffic regulations and school policies.
- Follow specified routes and schedules for staff pick-up and drop-off, ensuring timeliness at all times.
- Ensure that passengers adhere to safety protocols and maintain proper conduct during transit.
- Assist in upholding order and discipline within the vehicle.
- Perform daily inspections of the vehicle to confirm it is roadworthy and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Keep precise records, including route logs, time sheets, and reports of incidents or accidents.
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean, presentable, and well-kept condition at all times.
- Promptly report any accidents, delays, or incidents to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the transport team on operational needs, including special trips or school events.
- Adhere to all GEMS policies, procedures, and the code of conduct.
- Participate in meetings and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
