The Role
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher who can motivate and engage students in Years 5 through 8 using innovative and effective teaching strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of our expanding network of schools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Mathematics for Year 5 to Year 8 in alignment with the British curriculum.
• Create and deliver engaging and challenging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
• Take part in curriculum development and the implementation of progressive teaching practices.
• Assess and track student progress, offering constructive and timely feedback.
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students in developing strong numeracy, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.
• Participate in enrichment activities and contribute to the overall school community.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent) from a UK university.
• A relevant degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.
• Experience teaching Mathematics in a British curriculum school.
• Strong capabilities in classroom management and lesson planning.
• A high level of motivation and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching Mathematics.
• An effective team player with excellent communication skills.
Desirable:
• Experience in preparing students for Key Stage 3 progression.
• Proven teaching experience in the UK.
• Recent experience in UK or international educational settings.
• Training in child protection.
