We proudly serve a diverse student body of 700, representing over 60 nationalities, with ages ranging from 3 to 18. Our demographic consists of 60% expatriates and 40% Egyptians, all of whom need to hold dual nationality.

Known for the excellence of our educational offerings, NCBIS places great emphasis on a strong CAS component throughout the school while fostering a supportive learning environment.

The Dutch School?

The Dutch Stream is one of the three departments at NCBIS, providing bilingual (Dutch/English) primary education based on the Dutch national curriculum. We work closely with our colleagues in the British Primary and Secondary departments to create a unified and supportive educational environment.

The Primary School?

In the primary school, we apply the conceptual outcomes of the English National Curriculum through a customized program that values and celebrates our cultural diversity. The school is fully accredited by CIS and is a member of COBIS and BSME.

The Secondary School?

In the secondary school, students follow the English National Curriculum at Key Stage 3, utilizing the Pearson Progression Scale and GL Assessment (PTM/PTE/PTS) for assessment.

At Key Stage 4, students take the Edexcel International GCSE exams in Year 11.

For Key Stage 5, we provide both International A-Levels and the IB Diploma Programme as distinct pathways for Years 12 and 13.

Where is the NCBIS Community?

Located in New Cairo, a tranquil area to the east of central Cairo, our small class sizes create a family-like atmosphere, enabling us to offer our students the personalized attention they require. Our involved parents play a crucial role in nurturing this enriching cultural environment.

The spirit of our community is further enhanced by carefully selected external visitors and active alumni.
