Actual Annual Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 (M1 to UPS3)
Contract Type: Fixed term until 31st August 2027
Hours: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week (Part time hours considered)
Provisional Start Date: 01 January 2027
This is an exciting opportunity to join Hans Price Academy as a Teacher of Computer Science, working within our Work Related Learning department. You will join a supportive and ambitious team, delivering engaging Computer Science lessons and helping our students develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for their future.
You will have the opportunity to use your talents to play a key role in championing the success and life chances of all children in our trust. About you
You will be:
- A qualified teacher.
- Able to deliver Computer Science across relevant key stages, consistently providing high-quality, engaging lessons.
- Committed to meeting the needs of all learners, including students from key identified groups such as Pupil Premium, looked after children, SEND and high attaining students.
- A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
- Passionate about Computer Science and able to inspire students to develop their knowledge, skills and curiosity within the subject.
- Keen to contribute to the wider Work Related Learning department and support opportunities that enrich students' experiences beyond the classroom.
- Committed to developing your own expert practice and contributing positively to the development of the wider team.
- Able to demonstrate high standards of professional practice in line with the Teachers’ Standards.
