Every role is essential to our flow, from our kitchen providing nutritious meals to the mahi in our rooms inspired by Reggio Emilia and Pikler philosophies. We work together to support free movement and independence, empowering our older tamariki to even help with kai preparation.

About you

  • Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable nature that makes people feel truly at home.

  • The initiative to continually look for improvements and the integrity to act in ways that are fair and ethical.

  • A deep commitment to Te Whāriki and an interest in experimenting and innovating with core philosophies.

  • Confidence using the digital tools that help us document learning and stay connected with our community.

The opportunity

  • Using Te Whāriki as your base to plan and guide the educational and developmental journey of each child.

  • Capturing and sharing high-quality assessments, ensuring each child's unique progress is celebrated with their families.

  • Creating a supportive and equitable atmosphere where relationships and a sense of belonging are prioritised.

  • Building effective, positive relationships with the whole team and providing a warm, guiding hand for students and helpers.

  • Maintaining a beautiful and safe environment where the physical care and safety of all tamariki are held to the highest standard.

Why join our team?

  • Full Pay Parity.

  • PLD budget to support your ongoing learning.

  • Monthly wellbeing initiatives, EAP access, and flu vax and first aid.
