The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and inspiring Pre-Prep Teacher to join the founding team at Queen Elizabeth’s School in Gurugram, India.

This exceptional opportunity entails developing an outstanding early years program that combines the academic rigor of the Cambridge Early Years Programme with a nurturing, child-centered focus on holistic growth. The Role

Job Title: Pre-Prep Teacher

Reporting to: Head of Pre-Prep School

Inspirational Teaching and Learning

  • Cultivate an innovative learning environment by designing experiences that promote language development, cultural awareness, and cognitive advancement.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in alignment with the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum, maintaining the highest standards of early childhood education.
  • Incorporate play-based learning, storytelling, music, movement, and hands-on exploration to enhance early literacy, numeracy, inquiry, and social-emotional competencies.
  • Employ a range of interactive and creative teaching approaches to spark curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning from the earliest stages.
  • Customize learning experiences by differentiating instruction to meet each child's developmental levels, interests, and needs, ensuring every learner feels acknowledged, included, and supported.
  • Monitor and record each child's progress through ongoing observations and developmental milestones, utilizing assessment insights to refine instruction and offer targeted next steps.

Pastoral Excellence and Child Development

  • Create a warm, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where every child feels secure, valued, and empowered to thrive.
  • Support the holistic development of each student—socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively—ensuring that individual growth is carefully nurtured and guided.
