HLTA with Cover Supervisor Responsibilities

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible Higher Level Teaching Assistant to take responsibility for coordinating and allocating daily cover arrangements across the Upper School, ensuring appropriate staffing is in place for both planned and unplanned staff absences.

The successful candidate will have experience in delivery of excellent classroom cover, coordinating timetables and working with children and young people. Excellent time management, organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively to tight deadlines are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery of excellent classroom cover (up to 2/3 of role).
• Managing and organising cover arrangements for planned and unplanned staff absences, both teaching and non-teaching.
• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons based on the National Curriculum Contribution to multi-disciplinary and collaborative working.
• Contribution to multi-disciplinary and collaborative working.
• Maintaining professional development and supporting school-wide initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• GCSE at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) including English & Maths
• Experience of working in an educational setting
• Experience of planning and leading teaching and learning activities
