The main purpose of this role is to ensure that all teaching staff at Durham School for Girls (DSGD) meet UK Teaching Standards while aligning their practices with the school’s MARK values, policies, and the cultural expectations established by the Qatari Ministry of Education (MOE). Responsibilities include delivering high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of students, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment, and supporting both academic and personal growth. Staff members are expected to demonstrate professional behavior, collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, and actively engage in the school community. Furthermore, they must ensure that all teaching methods, curriculum plans, and resources are in accordance with DSGD/MARK values, Qatari culture, and MOE ethics. This role also involves ongoing professional development, adherence to school policies, and promoting student well-being and high-performance learning (HPL) strategies.
