The “Intercultural Programme” at Collegio San Carlo covers all levels from Kindergarten to Year 13 and includes five unique High School streams, such as the IBDP.

The primary objective of this programme is to merge a comprehensive international bilingual curriculum with the guidelines set forth by the Italian Ministry of Education, providing 50% of subjects in English through a well-structured and cohesive methodology. Each Intercultural class benefits from the collaborative efforts of a team consisting of English and Italian educators. English teachers are responsible for subjects including English, Geography, Science, Creative Arts, and Digital Studies, while specialists fluent in English lead PE and Music classes.

The following qualifications, experience, and qualities are required:

- A minimum of 3-4 years of teaching experience at the Lower Primary level
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education
- A relevant Teaching Qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
- Familiarity with the Primary Cambridge International Curriculum or a comparable framework
- Recognition of collegiality as a key educational principle
- Strong collaboration skills
- Proficient digital competencies; Apple Teacher training is a plus
- Native English speaker
- Basic knowledge of Italian is preferred
- EU passport or valid work authorization for Italy
