Amity International School in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified, experienced, and highly motivated Social Worker to support the overall development and well-being of our students across the school.
To enhance our growing school community, Amity is looking for a dedicated Social Worker who will play a crucial role in identifying and meeting the social, emotional, and academic needs of students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse student populations and a commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. You will work closely with students, families, staff, and external organizations to deliver essential counseling services, crisis intervention, and leadership in safeguarding. Given our student body represents over seventy nationalities, a cultural sensitivity and a strong understanding of various family dynamics and support systems are vital. Keep accurate records and compile comprehensive reports

Key Performance Indicators
•
Students' social, emotional, and academic needs are recognized and addressed promptly
•
Parents receive clear information about internal support and community resources
•
Staff collaborate with the social worker to enhance student well-being
•
Crisis situations are handled swiftly with proper safeguarding documentation
•
Active involvement in school life, including student activities and pastoral initiatives
Qualifications required:
•
QFE 7 (Bachelor’s Degree) in Social Work or Social Service with at least 2 years of experience in youth-related social work.
•
Or QFE 7 (Bachelor’s Degree) in Psychology, Counseling, Youth Development, Sociology, or a related discipline with 4 years of experience in youth-related social work.
•
A valid Social Care license from DCD (Department of Community Development).
