About This Role
Salary: HCC - H1 Scale Point 3
Hourly rate: £13.23 including outer fringe allowance plus unsociable hours uplift where applicable
Hours: A minimum of 8 hours per week required during weekends with the possibility of working weekday evenings, 52 weeks per year
Start date: As soon as possible
*Full-time equivalent salary = H1 Scale Point 3 £25,525 (including outer fringe allowance of £729 pa)
We are seeking to appoint a reliable and hardworking person with confident communication skills to join our dedicated Lettings team. You will work on our continually improving school site which boasts a welcome and friendly atmosphere.
A keen interest in football and other sports is desirable. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming visitors entering the facilities and ensuring customer satisfaction by helping us to create a friendly, relaxing and professional environment
- Ensuring that buildings and site are secure, including the locking and unlocking of buildings and outside areas at the start and end of each shift
- Managing the school’s online lettings booking system and responding to enquiries in a caring and helpful manner, ensuring that all our customers feel valued
- Setting up rooms and areas in advance of bookings, dependent on the customer’s requirements/activity
- Clear and clean areas after use
- Provide administrative support to the Lettings team, as required
- Liaise with staff and external Clubs
- Help with the set up for school events
The successful candidate will:
- Have a positive, confident, hands-on and proactive approach to work
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Be able to prioritise their workload with changing priorities
- Have strong organisational and time management skills
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have great attention to detail
- Possess basic IT skills, including the use of Word and Excel
- Be able to work well under pressure and without supervision, using their own initiative
