Learning Support Specialist

We are in search of a certified Learning Support Specialist who has experience working with students who have mild learning differences. This position can be part-time or full-time based on your preferences, and fluency in English is a requirement.
Key Responsibilities for Learning Support Team Members:
- Collaborate with students, including those with diagnosed mild learning differences and gifted learners, to create tailored learning plans that address their individual needs and objectives. Approximately 15-20% of our student population has learning differences such as ADHD, dyslexia/dysgraphia, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Relay learning plans and annual reports to both teachers and parents.
- Provide support in classrooms, in small group settings during afternoons, or through one-on-one interactions as necessary.
- Assist in training teachers on effective strategies for supporting students with learning differences in the classroom (adaptive teaching).
- Partner with other members of the Student Support Team to keep records and coordinate support services.
What We Require:
- A degree or certification in a relevant field related to learning support or special education.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with students who have mild to moderate learning differences, particularly ADHD, dyslexia, and ASD.
- Exceptional professionalism and communication skills in fluent English.
