Job Description:
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in History and Geography within the UK-IGCSE framework, extending up to A Level. You will inspire students from Year 7 to A Level, fostering their critical thinking abilities and supporting their academic growth.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Diploma in Education or a related field.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience, preferably with secondary-level students.
- A solid understanding of the UK-IGCSE / A Level curriculum.
- Capability to create and deliver interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
- Competence in effectively leveraging educational technology and resources.
In this position, you will:
- Teach A-Level History and Geography.
- Instruct all Lower Secondary levels (Years 7–9).
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to developing practical and engaging lesson plans.
- Participate in collaborative curriculum development within the Humanities Department.
Desirable (but not mandatory):
- Experience with Cambridge International programmes (IGCSE and/or A-Level).
- Experience in an international or bilingual school setting.
- Openness to teaching Business Studies if interested.
