The Role
We seek a skilled and motivated curriculum leader who is:
- Experienced and innovative when developing food technology programmes for Years 9 to 13
- Passionate about teaching and learning
- A team player and willing to be supportive of a team culture
- Committed to education and open to learning
- Passionate or willing to be supported in integrating Te reo Maaori and maatauranga Maaori into technology programmes
- Experienced or willing to be supported in a digital learning environment
- Willing to make a commitment to the school’s restorative and culturally sustaining practices
- Interested in fostering whaanau and community relationships.
For overseas teachers looking to relocate to New Zealand to teach, the terms and conditions including base salary for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $59,305 to $95,400 depending on applicants qualifications and experience. Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
