About This Role

Cambridge House British International School, a prestigious British international institution, was the first in Spain to attain both BSO (British School Overseas) and NABSS (National Association for British Schools in Spain) accreditation.

Founded over 30 years ago in Valencia (Eastern Spain), this innovative school is built on strong family values and delivers the English National Curriculum. Currently, it serves 1,700 students and has evolved to meet the needs of modern learners. The school offers education for students aged three to 18, who follow the National English Early Years Framework and the English National Curriculum. In Years 12 and 13, students work towards A-levels while also achieving accreditation for the Spanish Baccalaureate, with the option to pursue the BTEC pathway for vocational studies.

We are seeking a qualified Chemistry teacher capable of teaching up to A Level.

Job Requirements:

• A degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.

• A recognized teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE or equivalent).

• Experience teaching Chemistry at secondary and/or post-16 levels.

• Strong subject knowledge across the Chemistry curriculum, with the ability to effectively plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons.

• Understanding of safeguarding, differentiation, and effective classroom management strategies.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• C2 level English proficiency (or equivalent).

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
