Curriculum Overview:
Doha British School adheres to the National Curriculum of England, tailored to resonate with Qatar’s culture, heritage, and values. Our school ensures a seamless educational journey from Early Years to Sixth Form, merging academic excellence with strong pastoral care and a focus on personal development.
The DBS curriculum across all stages is crafted to be relevant, enriching, and challenging, combining academic rigor with leadership, creativity, and global citizenship.
Ideal candidates must possess:

A recognized educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.
•
A validated teaching qualification, including a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate (the PGCE should be backed by a subject-relevant bachelor’s degree).
•
A minimum of two years of teaching experience (international experience is preferred but not mandatory).
•
Outstanding subject knowledge, with considerable experience in teaching the National Curriculum of England.
•
A dedication to creating a student-centered learning atmosphere.
•
A commitment to professional development and a collaborative teaching approach.
•
A proven history of delivering exceptional teaching and learning.
•
A strong dedication to enhancing the broader school community through extracurricular involvement.
