Curriculum: KS3, Cambridge IGCSE, and IBDP Mathematics
Education Stage: Secondary School (11-18 years)
Position Type: Full-time
Job Description:
As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at KISU, your role will involve providing engaging and effective instruction across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (Cambridge IGCSE), and the IB Diploma Programme. You will enhance student learning by crafting lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will possess experience teaching through all key stages, including IB Diploma Programme Mathematics, in an international or UK-based educational setting.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (minimum requirement)
- Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE/PGDE)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at the Secondary school level
- Strong understanding of the British National Curriculum along with Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma Mathematics syllabi
- Capability to plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that engage students with varying learning needs
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to inspire students
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology tools for instructional purposes
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and students.
