The Role
The British International School is a premier educational establishment in Belgrade, dedicated to delivering top-notch British curriculum education in Serbia. We are in search of an enthusiastic and committed History Teacher to become part of our Secondary Branch. In this role, you will be tasked with providing engaging and thorough history lessons that are in line with the UK curriculum, including Cambridge IGCSEs and AS/A Level. You will motivate students to enhance their critical thinking abilities, grasp historical events and contexts, and value diverse perspectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid subject expertise, proficient classroom management skills, and experience with secondary school learners.

Proven teaching experience

High-level administrative efficiency and communication skills

An interest in the extracurricular activities of the School
Skills and Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s Degree in History (minimum requirement)
•
At least 2 years of teaching experience in secondary/high school environments
•
Familiarity with the United Kingdom curriculum standards for history
•
Capability to design dynamic lesson plans that address various learning styles
•
Effective classroom management strategies
•
Proficiency in utilizing technology as a learning tool
