About the Role
Aldenham Prep School Riyadh is looking for a passionate and creative Computer Science, Robotics & Digital Literacy Teacher to become a part of our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to design and implement a progressive computing curriculum for Key Stages 1–3, equipping students with essential digital skills, creativity, and critical thinking for their future endeavors.
The ideal candidate will captivate students with interactive lessons focused on coding, robotics, computational thinking, and digital literacy, while fostering strong connections across different subjects and practical applications.

Prepare and deliver exceptional lessons in:

Computing and Digital Literacy (KS1–KS3)
-
Coding (e.g. Scratch, Python or similar)

Robotics and STEM-related education
-
Enhance pupils’ comprehension of:
-
Computational thinking
-
Programming principles
-
Digital citizenship and online safety
-
Establish a captivating, innovative, and inclusive educational atmosphere
-
Effectively incorporate technology throughout the curriculum
-
Evaluate, assess, and monitor student progress in accordance with school policies
-
Contribute to the growth of the computing and robotics curriculum

Assist with extracurricular activities such as:
-
Coding clubs
-
Robotics competitions
-
STEM projects
-
Collaborate with colleagues to enrich cross-curricular learning experiences

Uphold high standards of classroom management and student behavior

Engage fully in school life, participating in events, duties, and enrichment programs
Person Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related area
-
Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent)
-
Experience in teaching computing or ICT within a British curriculum setting

Strong subject expertise in:
-
Programming
-
Robotics or STEM technologies
-
Digital literacy and online safety
-
Capacity to inspire and engage students of varying abilities
-
Outstanding communication and organizational abilities
-
Experience with robotics platforms
-
Experience teaching across KS2 and/or KS3

Familiarity with technology integration into other subjects

Experience in international or multicultural educational environments
