About This Role

King’s College Riyadh is in search of a passionate and experienced KS1 Class Teacher to join our educational team in August 2026.

About Cognita:
Cognita stands as a premier global authority in independent education. Established in 2004, our network encompasses over 100 schools across 16 countries, including regions in Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East, catering to more than 85,000 students. While each school possesses its unique characteristics, we collectively strive to foster an environment where everyone can thrive in an ever-changing world.

At Cognita, we recognize that each student is distinctive. We celebrate their individual personalities and strengths, providing comprehensive support academically, socially, and emotionally, no matter where they are in the world. Our commitment is to preserve their individuality while offering a wealth of knowledge, opportunities, and best practices. Students become part of a larger community, receiving an education that is truly world-class.

About King’s College Riyadh:
King’s College Riyadh is the inaugural UK private school brand to launch in Saudi Arabia, in true collaboration with King’s College UK, which has been educating students in the UK and internationally for over 140 years.

Since its establishment in 2021, King’s has experienced remarkable growth, expanding to Year 7 in August 2025, and plans to extend through to Year 13 (age 18), allowing students to complete their entire King’s education in Riyadh. In contrast to most international schools in the area, King’s is fully co-educational from Pre-School to Year 7.

King’s College Riyadh:

Introduces 140 years of educational excellence to Saudi Arabia.

Delivers a comprehensive curriculum adapted from King’s UK to fit the Saudi context.

Offers outstanding pastoral care and fosters a strong sense of community.

Creates exceptional career advancement opportunities within an international school network.

The collaboration with King’s College UK is pivotal to the school’s achievements. Joint efforts in areas such as vision and ethos, curriculum development, professional growth, and extracurricular activities uphold the highest international standards. Both students and staff in Riyadh benefit from the vast expertise and esteemed reputation that King’s College has cultivated over nearly 150 years.

The school harmonizes academic success with a robust focus on sports, music, the arts, and diverse activities. Essential to this is its dedication to pastoral care: students flourish when they feel happy, supported, and secure. The staff endeavors to cultivate a warm, inclusive community where every child has reliable peers and adults to turn to, ensuring they feel appreciated and connected.

Role Overview:
King’s College Riyadh is looking for a committed and enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to join our dynamic and innovative school community. This is a wonderful opportunity to take an active role in delivering a diverse and engaging curriculum that motivates students to achieve their maximum potential.

When fully operational, each year group functions as a cohesive unit, ensuring that every child receives the same high-quality learning experiences while each teacher enjoys the benefits of strong collaboration.
