About This Role
Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is an expanding K-12 educational institution aimed at guiding young individuals to become responsible citizens while preparing them for higher education. This entails instilling essential virtues such as courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty, alongside the core academic curriculum.
A thriving school environment is characterized by high-quality instruction from educators and effective learning experiences for students. Achieving this necessitates a secure atmosphere for everyone involved with SPAS, as well as a strong focus on citizenship and the fair and equitable application of rules within the Saint Paul Scholars community. We value parental involvement as a crucial element in the educational journey and believe that parents should be actively engaged and accountable for their children’s achievements and behavior.
SPAS seeks educators who see themselves as more than mere teachers. At their core, these individuals are driven to discover additional ways to assist struggling students, to challenge high-achieving students, and to understand the reasons behind students' performance levels. Their passion is fueled by a commitment to ensure that students not only survive but truly thrive. Our educators are eager to collaborate with fellow educators and stakeholders to enhance student support.
Educators recognize that teaching extends beyond just assigning, collecting, and grading work. If you share this philosophy, we are excited to hear from you.
