About This Role
Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is an expanding K-12 educational institution focused on guiding young individuals towards becoming responsible citizens while preparing them for higher education. This involves instilling essential qualities of ethical behavior, such as courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty, in addition to the fundamental academic subjects.
A positive school environment is marked by high-quality teaching from educators and effective learning among students. Achieving this necessitates a secure atmosphere for everyone involved with SPAS and a strong focus on citizenship, ensuring that rules are enforced uniformly and justly across the Saint Paul Scholars community. We recognize that parents play a crucial role in the educational journey and must be actively engaged and accountable for their children's academic performance and conduct.
At SPAS, we are in search of candidates who view themselves as educators, not merely teachers. This perspective drives their desire to discover additional ways to assist struggling students, challenge those who excel, and understand the factors influencing student performance. The passion of educators stems from their dedication and efforts to help students not just survive but truly thrive. They aim to collaborate with fellow educators and community stakeholders to enhance student support.
Educators recognize that teaching extends beyond merely assigning, collecting, and grading assignments. If this resonates with you, we would be eager to hear from you.
