About This Role
Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is an expanding K-12 educational institution dedicated to guiding young individuals toward becoming responsible citizens while preparing them for higher education. This mission involves instilling key ethical values such as courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty, alongside essential academic subjects.
A thriving school atmosphere is marked by high-quality instruction from educators and effective learning experiences for students. This necessitates a secure environment for everyone associated with SPAS, emphasizing citizenship and equitable application of rules within the Saint Paul Scholars community. We recognize the crucial role parents play in the educational journey and their shared responsibility for their children's academic and behavioral outcomes.
At SPAS, we are on the lookout for individuals who view themselves as educators rather than merely teachers. This perspective entails a genuine desire to find additional ways to assist struggling students, challenge those who excel, and understand the reasons behind students' performance levels. The drive of an educator stems from the dedication and effort to ensure that every student not only survives but flourishes. Educators are eager to collaborate with their peers and stakeholders to enhance student success.
Educators appreciate that teaching extends beyond merely assigning, collecting, and grading assignments. If you share this belief, we invite you to apply.
