About This Role
Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is an expanding K-12 school district focused on nurturing responsible citizens and preparing students for higher education. This involves instilling essential ethical values such as courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty, alongside the core academic curriculum.
A thriving school atmosphere is marked by excellent teaching from educators and effective learning from students. Achieving this requires a secure environment for everyone at SPAS, emphasizing citizenship and the fair application of rules throughout the Saint Paul Scholars community. We believe that parental involvement is crucial in the educational journey, holding them accountable for their children's achievement and behavior.
SPAS is in search of educators who see themselves as more than mere teachers. Ideal candidates are those who are eager to explore additional ways to assist struggling students, challenge high achievers, and understand the reasons behind student performance. Their dedication stems from a commitment to ensuring students not only survive but also flourish. Educators are keen to collaborate with fellow educators and community stakeholders to enhance student success.
Understanding that education transcends the simple tasks of assigning, collecting, and grading assignments is vital. If you resonate with this philosophy, we invite you to apply.
