Job Description
•
Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment grounded in evidence-based best practices.
•
Implement a curriculum using a transdisciplinary and conceptual framework that is both challenging and relevant.
•
Foster and sustain authentic, respectful, and positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, valuing social, cultural, and religious diversity.
•
Adapt the curriculum to meet a wide range of learning needs.
•
Collaborate with the Inclusive Education and EAL teams, as well as the school counselor, to ensure the best outcomes for every student.
•
Participate in and contribute to meetings as needed.
•
Work together to develop and assess Individual Education Plans as required.
•
Keep planning documents that outline specific learning objectives, differentiated tasks, and assessments.
•
Track and document student progress.
•
Incorporate technology, as appropriate, to improve student learning outcomes.
•
Ensure the classroom is organized and well-maintained, encouraging students to take pride in their learning space.
•
Oversee all facets of classroom management, addressing the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students in a constructive and proactive manner.
•
Engage in professional discussions and collaborate with colleagues, sharing knowledge while maintaining confidentiality.
•
Champion student wellbeing, promoting a culture of safeguarding and child protection, and upholding the school-wide commitment to student safety.
•
Be knowledgeable about Safeguarding reporting procedures and follow protocols in cases of Child Protection Issues.
•
Reflect on one’s own professional practice to stay updated on contemporary research and best practices.
•
Engage in Professional Learning and appraisal processes aimed at personal, professional, and career growth.
•
Contribute to the management of pastoral care, health, welfare, and behavior for all students, particularly those in your designated class group.
•
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Principal.
•
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or its equivalent, or a Bachelor’s Degree in another subject along with a PGCE from a recognized University or College.
•
A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience is required.
•
Applicants should provide original copies of their certificates and academic transcripts for verification.
•
Immediate availability (i.e., currently residing in Riyadh with a valid transferable Iqama) is preferred.
