About This Role

ROLE SUMMARY:

King's College School, Cascais, a distinguished member of the Inspired Education Group, is a prominent international institution located in the Lisbon region. We deliver a comprehensive education through the Cambridge International curriculum up to Year 10, complemented by a bilingual Portuguese–English programme through Year 5. Our dedication to academic excellence and holistic growth equips students for success at leading universities across the globe.

We are on the lookout for a passionate and effective Business Teacher with IB experience to join our team for the upcoming academic year. This is an exhilarating opportunity to become part of our expanding Business and Economics Department. Business is currently the most sought-after optional subject at GCSE level for Years 10 and 11, necessitating multiple teaching sets across both grades. Additionally, we provide Business Management in the IB Diploma Programme, as well as Business A Level, both expected to attract significant interest as we inaugurate our Sixth Form in September 2026. Therefore, we are eager to consider candidates experienced in teaching GCSE Business along with either IBDP Business Management or Business A Level, preferably both. We particularly encourage applicants who can also teach another subject alongside Business, such as Economics, ICT or Computer Science, Mathematics, or Science.

The ideal candidate will create engaging Business and Management lessons that cultivate critical thinking, commercial insight, and strong analytical and evaluative skills, resulting in outstanding academic performance. Being part of the Inspired global network means you will benefit from collaborative colleagues and abundant professional development opportunities, while also contributing to the broader academic and pastoral life of the school.

Additionally, you might be interested in attending our in-person Inspired Careers Event in London on Saturday, 24th January 2026. This event will host our school alongside over 30 other UK and international Inspired schools, connecting with teachers looking for new roles starting in August 2026.
