GEMS International School, Al Khail is currently seeking applications from seasoned Primary Music Teachers for positions available in August 2026.

Design and implement stimulating, inquiry-based lessons that spark curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.
•
Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that nurtures each student's unique strengths and learning preferences.
•
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the varied needs of all learners, including EAL, gifted students, and those needing additional assistance.
•
Utilize technology and innovative strategies to enrich student engagement and learning.
•
Effectively assess, document, and communicate student progress, using data to guide instruction and personalized support.
•
Work collaboratively with colleagues to create and enhance IB-aligned curriculum plans, resources, and assessments.
•
Participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and initiatives.
•
Foster positive relationships with parents and the wider school community to enhance student development and wellbeing.
•
Engage in continuous professional development and reflection to improve teaching practices.
•
Embody the GEMS values and the IB Learner Profile in all facets of school life.
The ideal candidate will possess:
•
A recognized professional teaching qualification at the degree level, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or an equivalent in Music specialization.
•
At least 3 years of relevant and demonstrable experience teaching Primary Music, preferably within an IB Curriculum School (though not essential).
•
Experience with IB PYP is preferred but not mandatory.
•
A passion for inspiring young learners through innovative and inquiry-based instruction.
•
