KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Deliver captivating and effective Mathematics instruction in alignment with the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and other international educational frameworks.


Plan and implement engaging lessons tailored to meet diverse learning needs, utilizing contemporary teaching methods and technology.


Evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments to maintain high academic expectations.


Offer pastoral support to students, fostering their well-being and working in conjunction with the school’s well-being team.


Promote student participation in extracurricular activities, academic contests, and STEM-focused initiatives.


Participate in curriculum design and school improvement efforts.


Cultivate a positive classroom climate with high expectations for behavior and discipline.


Collaborate with fellow educators to exchange best practices and support professional development objectives.


Communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders regarding student progress.


Stay informed about educational advancements and engage in continuous professional development.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related discipline, along with a valid teaching qualification.


Experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, preferably with familiarity in the IB curriculum (IBDP) or other international programs.


An ability to inspire and engage students, cultivating a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking.


Strong skills in adapting instruction for diverse learners.


Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.


Experience in leveraging technology and innovative teaching techniques to enhance educational experiences.


A commitment to ongoing professional development.


A solid understanding of safeguarding and practices related to student welfare.
