We are in search of a dedicated and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to join our Middle School and High School team in August 2026. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Instruct Mathematics to Middle and High School students, adhering to IB standards and curriculum guidelines.


Create and implement stimulating lessons that cultivate problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical abilities.


Encourage a growth mindset and motivate students to investigate mathematical concepts through inquiry-based learning.


Differentiate teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learners and challenge students at all skill levels.


Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching methods as necessary.


Utilize technology and digital resources to enrich learning experiences, including graphing software and interactive platforms.


Play an active role in the school’s extracurricular offerings, including math clubs, competitions, and STEM programs.


Work collaboratively with colleagues from various disciplines to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences aligned with the IB philosophy.


Mentor students, supporting their personal, academic, and social growth.


Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.


Ensure teaching practices align with IB inquiry-based learning and the school’s values, fostering curiosity and a passion for mathematics.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


A university degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with a recognized teaching qualification.


Experience teaching mathematics to Middle and High School students, ideally within an international or IB school setting.


Knowledge of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP), with a focus on inquiry-based mathematics education.


Demonstrated ability to create an engaging and dynamic classroom that encourages problem-solving and critical thinking.


Skilled in integrating technology to enhance mathematics instruction using digital tools and interactive platforms.


Strong communication skills with fluency in English (basic knowledge of French is a plus).


A collaborative approach, capable of working effectively with colleagues across various disciplines.


Adaptability and flexibility in a multicultural setting.


A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about educational best practices.


A solutions-oriented perspective with a passion for motivating students to explore and appreciate mathematics.


Willingness to engage in extracurricular activities, including math clubs, competitions, or STEM initiatives.
