Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and dynamic Drama & Music lessons that foster a love of the arts.
• Plan and implement creative and innovative learning experiences.
• Develop and implement innovative schemes of work, incorporating a variety of teaching styles and resources.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate drama and music across the curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Encourage students to explore their artistic talents and express themselves freely.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a holistic approach to learning.
• Prepare students for exciting school productions and musical events.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment where every child can shine.

Qualifications:

· A certified UK teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent (PGCE/PGDE must be accompanied by a subject relevant Bachelor’s Degree).

Successful applicants must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A strong background in Drama and Music education.
• Experience teaching primary-aged students.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to inspiring young learners.

Desirable qualities:

• Experience of teaching students with English as an Additional Language.
• Experience of teaching KS3 level students
• Experience of integrating technology into teaching.
• Experience in an international school setting.
• The ability to teach across multiple creative disciplines (e.g., Drama, Music, Art).
