LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

We are seeking a caring and committed professional to join our experienced and enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Student Support Lead and Class Teacher(s) to support the specific academic, social and behavioural needs of a pupil at our school.

The successful applicant will:

• Be experienced in working or volunteering in a school or educational setting
• Have a sound knowledge of child development and be experienced in supporting the academic and social skills of children
• Be able to employ a range of strategies to motivate and engage children and to maintain appropriate standards of behaviour
• Be imaginative, creative and able to use their initiative
• Be able to work flexibly as part of a high performing team
• Bring a sense of energy, enthusiasm and passion to the role
• Be a fluent English speaker
