Sage College is seeking a committed and enthusiastic German Teacher to join our faculty, beginning in September 2026.

This role involves teaching German to students from Key Stage 3 through to IGCSE level.

We are looking for an educator who can inspire creativity and artistic confidence while developing linguistic abilities, cultural awareness, and a true appreciation for the German language.

Additional Opportunity: Boarding Houseparent

For those interested, there's the possibility to take on an additional role as a Boarding Houseparent within our on-campus Boarding School. This position provides extra compensation and accommodation on-site.

This combined academic and pastoral role is perfect for a teacher who enjoys contributing to students’ personal development, well-being, and involvement in the residential community.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a recognized teaching qualification.
• Have proven experience teaching German up to IGCSE level.
• Possess a background in a UK or international school that follows the National Curriculum of England & Wales.
• Be fluent in English and have strong skills in the German language.
• Knowledge of Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Have an EU passport/status or a valid TIE/right to work in Spain.
• Display engaging, student-centered teaching practices with high standards.
• Be dedicated to enhancing the wider school life (exhibitions, cultural activities, trips, school productions, language week, etc.).
• If applying for the Boarding Houseparent position, be supportive, responsible, approachable, and confident in a pastoral/residential setting.
