Founded in 2021, Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School (PKXYS) is a collaborative initiative between the Hong Kong Xinyi Group and the Pui Kiu Education Foundation. It stands out as the first international boarding school in Mainland China to simultaneously implement both the National Compulsory Education Curriculum and the Hong Kong Curriculum. Moreover, it is the first institution in Mainland China to offer a seamless 16-year educational program tailored specifically for students from Hong Kong.

Strategically situated in the Longhua District of Shenzhen, in close proximity to the Shenzhen North Railway Station, the campus spans approximately 45,000 square meters, with a total constructed area of around 180,000 square meters. Its advantageous location allows for quick access, taking only 19 minutes to reach Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and 21 minutes to Futian Port via high-speed rail and Shenzhen Metro Line 4, ensuring efficient daily commuting between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

Curriculum and Accreditation

PKXYS offers a wide-ranging and inclusive selection of educational programs, which includes:

• The Mainland Chinese Middle School Curriculum
• The Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE)
• International Curricula: IGCSE, A-Level, and NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY)

PKXYS is proud to be:

• The first school in Mainland China to engage in an External School Review organized by the Hong Kong Education Bureau and conducted by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ).
• Officially recognized as operating under a model similar to Hong Kong’s subsidized or directly-funded schools.
• An authorized institution of Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) (Global Centre Code: CX221).

Job Description

Teaching Responsibilities

• Develop semester teaching plans and set clear instructional goals.
• Deliver all lessons in English, ensuring academic rigor and engaging student participation.

Communication Responsibilities

• Participate in departmental and staff meetings.
• Maintain effective communication with colleagues, parents, and students.
• Build positive relationships with parents and provide regular updates on students' academic progress.

Support Responsibilities

• Engage in school management activities, supervision duties, and promotional events as needed.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in a relevant field. Candidates with a Master’s degree and a recognized teaching qualification will be prioritized.
• A minimum of five years of teaching experience in IGCSE, A-Level, HKDSE, or other recognized international curricula. Candidates holding a Master’s or Doctoral degree in education-related fields must have at least two years of teaching experience.
