About This Role
ROLE SUMMARY:
St George's International School seeks to appoint a Primary Teacher for its Junior School to implement a thorough International Curriculum that caters to the students' age, abilities, and interests, while embodying the school's positive ethos and core values both within and beyond the classroom.
The ideal applicant will possess experience in teaching a variety of primary subjects, which include English (reading and writing), mathematics, science, and humanities.
Teachers will be pivotal in nurturing a collaborative atmosphere involving teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and board members. We are looking for an exceptional educator with at least 3 years of experience working with children aged 5–10, who is committed to excellence, promoting ongoing improvement, and inspiring students.
This is a fixed-term position (70%) to cover a long-term absence due to illness. The initial contract will span approximately 6 weeks, with the potential for extension depending on the return of the current employee.

Prepare reports as requested by the school;

Be available for meetings within the school timetable;
•
Provide class coverage as needed in the absence of a staff member;
•
Serve as a role model for students, representing the school positively in behavior and adherence to the dress code;
•
Work collaboratively and cultivate strong relationships with colleagues and parents;
