This position is designed to ensure that all teaching staff at Durham School for Girls (DSGD) comply with the UK Teaching Standards, while also aligning their practices with the school’s MARK values, policies, and the cultural standards set by the Qatari Ministry of Education (MOE). Key responsibilities include delivering engaging, high-quality lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment, and promoting both academic and personal growth. Staff are expected to maintain professional conduct, work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders, and actively contribute to the school community. Additionally, they must ensure that all teaching practices, curriculum plans, and resources align with DSGD/MARK values, Qatari culture, and MOE ethics. This role also includes supporting ongoing professional development for staff, upholding school policies, and promoting student well-being and high-performance learning (HPL) strategies.
