We are looking for an outstanding Teacher of English to become part of our Primary School team.
What you will be responsible for:
- Delivering captivating, high-impact English lessons to students in line with the Cambridge/UK curriculum.
- Designing inquiry-based learning experiences that enhance literacy, communication, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Utilizing assessments to guide teaching strategies and interventions; providing clear and timely feedback to both students and parents.
- Engaging in the broader school community (such as tutoring, clubs, and enrichment activities) and working closely with colleagues in the English department.
About you:
- You hold a degree in English or a related discipline along with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/QTS or an equivalent international credential).
- You have successfully taught KS1/KS2 English within the Cambridge and/or UK curriculum, demonstrating effective results.
- You possess strong classroom management skills, employ inclusive strategies for multilingual learners, and are adept at using digital tools.
- You are committed to a growth mindset, possess excellent communication skills, and prioritize safeguarding and student well-being.
