ASCS is fully technology-enabled and holds Google certification, providing both teachers and students with Chromebooks. Our innovative and forward-thinking British Curriculum School in Dubai is seeking an ‘Outstanding’ Head of Commerce to oversee GCSE and A Level courses. Our school provides a genuinely international environment for our students, infused with a distinctly British essence.

We are in search of a leader who:

Holds an undergraduate degree or major in Economics/Business

•
Possesses a PGCE in Business/Economics

•
Has experience in a leadership role within a British or British Curriculum School

•
Has taught AQA, Edexcel, or equivalent British exam boards

•
Demonstrates evidence of ‘Outstanding’ teaching or the potential to achieve this

•
Can provide proof of departmental improvement

•
Is skilled in planning engaging, student-centered lessons

•
Is an expert in their subject and passionate about inspiring a love of learning in students

Effectively utilizes classroom technology to enhance the learning experience
