Recruiting Institution

View Full School Profile & Vacancies
The TES Community Taipei European School serves over 1,300 students hailing from around 800 international families and is supported by a dedicated team of 220 educators and staff across two campuses. This diverse community necessitates a well-organized and integrated structure to ensure effective leadership and management. Governance In alignment with many educational institutions, TES distinguishes between governance, which encompasses policy-making, strategic planning, and long-term vision, and management, which pertains to the daily operations and oversight of the school. TES Board of Directors (TESBOD): Taipei European School operates as a non-profit Foundation, officially recognized and regulated by the Bureau of Education within the Taipei City Government. The executive committee of the TES Foundation is the TES Board of Directors (TESBOD), comprised of nine members. Among these, six members, including the Chairman, must be citizens of the Republic of China. This Board convenes approximately three to four times annually. The primary role of TESBOD is to oversee the school's operations as the ultimate legal authority, responsible for approving strategic initiatives, significant projects, and annual financial plans. The mission of Taipei European School is to deliver educational excellence while promoting European culture and values within the framework of Taiwanese society. We aspire to be the preferred choice for parents, students, teachers, and staff alike. Our goal is to offer a high-quality education for international students, currently delivered through British, French, and German curricula for children aged 3 to 14, and a unified senior school for ages 14 to 18, predominantly utilizing English as the medium for advanced education and training.
