Advanced Skills Teacher - Dubai

GEMS Founders School, Dubai (GFS) commenced operations in September 2016, initially enrolling over 1800 students from FS1 to Year 8. This marked the most successful launch in GEMS Education's history regarding student enrollment. By September 2017, our student body grew to more than 3500 as we expanded to include Year 9. The following year, in September 2018, we introduced Year 10 and Year 12, offering the International GCSE and A Level curriculum, starting the year with 3800 students. In 2019, our capacity increased to 4260 students across Phases 1 and 2 of our original campus. By 2021, we initiated Phase 3 to accommodate more facilities for expanded curricular options. We reached our maximum capacity in 2022, with 6139 students from FS1 to Year 13. Since our inception, we have fostered a supportive learning environment for both students and educators, aligning with the National Curriculum for England as well as the UAE Ministry of Education standards. As a British school abroad representing over 100 nationalities, we prioritize the appreciation of diverse languages and cultural perspectives, using this diversity to enrich the culture, history, and beliefs within our community. We have achieved a Good rating in two DSIB inspections, with the latest report highlighting some Outstanding attributes. Additionally, we are accredited by British Schools Overseas (BSO), receiving Outstanding judgements across all standards, which enables us to provide NQT, QTS, and iPGCE programs for our educators through the TES Institute.
