Located in Bangkok, Thailand, the school has been serving students since its establishment in 1992. It proudly became the first full International Baccalaureate World School in Thailand, having introduced three International Baccalaureate programs by 1999. In 2003, the school expanded its facilities with the opening of an Early Years Centre and a Sports Complex, followed by a new cafeteria in 2004. NIST International School maintains an affiliation with the United Nations and its students consistently achieve results that exceed national, regional, and global averages in the International Baccalaureate diploma examinations. The student body comprises approximately 29% Thai students, with the remaining 71% representing around 50 different nationalities.
