About the School:

The Royal Grammar School Guildford, Qatar (RGSGQ) is expanding and is on the lookout for an outstanding Science Teacher (Chemistry and/or Physics) to join our Secondary department. Become a part of one of the premier British International schools in the Middle East.

RGS Guildford, Qatar is a comprehensive British institution offering a co-educational British curriculum for students aged 3 to 18. Since its inception in September 2016, the school has grown to serve over 785 students, conveniently situated just 20 minutes away from the Pearl and the new Lusail city. Our curriculum encompasses the English Early Years Foundation Stage, the National Curriculum at Key Stages 1, 2, and 3, along with a diverse array of IGCSE courses at Key Stage 4. For Post-16 students, we provide a range of AS level options. Successful applicants must have:

• A recognized teaching qualification such as a B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent (the PGCE must be accompanied by a subject-relevant Bachelor's Degree)

• Strong subject knowledge, with extensive experience teaching the British National Curriculum

• The ability to work collaboratively within a team

• A diligent and highly motivated approach to work

• A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and learning, with a proven track record of providing exceptional educational experiences

• A commitment to engaging in extracurricular activities after school

About the Role:

We are looking for a Science teacher, ideally specializing in Chemistry, though candidates with a Physics background will also be considered. You will teach students in KS3, I/GCSE, and up to AS-level within cutting-edge Science laboratories. Science holds a prestigious place within the RGSGQ community, as many parents are professionals in scientific disciplines.
