About This Role
Ardingly Astana, a British International school located in the vibrant heart of Astana, Kazakhstan, opened its doors in September 2024. Associated with the esteemed Ardingly College in the UK, a leading independent school established in 1858, we are devoted to offering outstanding educational experiences for all students. We are currently in search of passionate Primary teachers who are enthusiastic about teaching, open-minded, inventive, and enjoy working collaboratively with their peers. Primary Teachers will be tasked with delivering inspiring lessons, fostering a nurturing classroom atmosphere, and instilling a love for learning within our students. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who:
- Employ a range of teaching methods and resources to boost student engagement and learning.
- Establish a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every pupil feels valued and supported.
- Have experience working with students who are learning English as a second language.
- Design and implement dynamic lessons that address the varied needs of students.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to aid their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other staff to support the overall well-being of students.
- Take charge of a primary class, nurturing and showing genuine interest in the comprehensive development of all children in that class.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent certification.
- Prior experience working with children in primary school.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum as well as inquiry-based teaching methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of establishing positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- A growth mindset and commitment to lifelong learning.
- Dedication to the continuous improvement and success of Ardingly Astana, along with alignment to the school’s values and ethos.
- Applicants must possess fluency in English.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in institutions that adhere to the National Curriculum of England.
- A passport from a country where English is the primary language.
