Teacher of Science

Located in Kensington and Chelsea, Ormiston Latimer Academy provides a caring environment based on integrity, mutual respect, and understanding. It seeks to reignite passion in education and aspiration. Each learner is treated as an individual and is supported to develop within an environment that develops a love of learning and the ability to create social and emotional skills fit for the world outside of education.

The main provision at Latimer is for secondary learners, but we also have a managed intervention centre and outreach service. Our learners are at risk of or have been excluded from mainstream settings. We serve the London Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. We believe that success for our young people comes because of our specialist approach; we are interested in activities that develop all young people’s capabilities; their potential for employability; their ability to have successful healthy relationships; their ability to make safe life choices, enhancing their quality of life and the realisation of their aspirations.
