About This Role

Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Teachers for September 2025

We are on the lookout for outstanding Primary Teachers who have experience in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, and who have a proven track record of delivering engaging and high-quality lessons. The perfect candidate will be both imaginative and enthusiastic, possessing a genuine passion for teaching and a dedication to making a positive difference in students' lives. We seek individuals who are keen to get involved in the wider school community, including leading extracurricular activities.

This opportunity allows you to join a committed and forward-thinking team that works collaboratively to promote vibrant and varied teaching methods. We invite applications from teachers qualified to teach in either Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, or both, with a preference for those having a minimum of 2 years of experience with the UK National Curriculum.

Candidates applying for Key Stage 1 must have significant experience with a DFE-recognized Phonics program, a solid grasp of the stages of emergent writing from the Foundation Stage, and a background in early maths mastery using the CPA approach.

All applicants should be inspiring educators capable of instilling a love for learning that students will carry with them throughout their primary education and beyond.

The English International College is a British institution that serves students aged 3-18. We offer a British curriculum that aligns closely with the UK National Curriculum, with some modifications to fit our international context and ethos. Our academic achievements are exceptional, frequently guiding students to prestigious universities around the globe, including Oxford, Cambridge, and Imperial. Additionally, we are a recognized center for Cambridge International and Pearson Examinations.

To apply, please send a CV in English along with a cover letter by Friday, 18th April. Apply via the WhatSchool platform.

We are committed to a thorough safeguarding policy; as an international school, you will need to obtain a certificate from the Child Exploitation & Online Protection Centre/ACRO as well as a CRB Enhanced disclosure or ‘Certificado de Penales/Certificado de Delitos de Naturaleza Sexual’ (Spain).

All applicants should be inspiring and able to ignite a passion for learning that children will carry with them through their primary years and beyond. Unfortunately, we will only be able to respond to those who have been shortlisted.
