We are looking to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our team. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference to their school day.
As a Midday Supervisor, you will help create a safe, happy and welcoming environment during the lunchtime period. You will supervise children in the dining hall and playground, encourage positive behaviour and social interaction, and support pupils to enjoy their lunchtime experience.
Key Responsibilities- Supervising children in the dining hall, playground and other school areas during lunchtime
- Encouraging healthy eating, good manners and positive social interactions
- Organising and participating in play opportunities and activities
- Promoting positive behaviour in line with the school's values and behaviour policy
- Ensuring the safety, wellbeing and welfare of all pupils at all times
- Following school policies and procedures, including safeguarding requirements
- Enjoys working with children and helping them thrive
- Is kind, patient, approachable and nurturing
- Has good communication and interpersonal skills
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Is reliable, organised and able to use their own initiative
- Maintains a calm and positive attitude
