Speech Language Pathologist
About This Role
The Lloydminster Public School Division is seeking a passionate professional committed to promoting speech and language growth across our diverse school settings. We invite applications for both part-time and full-time roles. The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will work alongside an interdisciplinary team to support children with moderate to severe speech and language difficulties, responsible for conducting screenings, assessments, and developing treatment/intervention plans. This position is set to commence on August 26, 2024.
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligibility for the Saskatchewan Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA) and the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA); current licensure is preferred
- Prior experience with school-aged children
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders is advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- A personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license
