Curriculum Overview

At Doha British School, we adhere to the National Curriculum of England, thoughtfully adapted to respect Qatar's culture, heritage, and values. Ideal candidates should possess:


A recognized educational qualification, such as a Bachelor's in Education or its equivalent.


A certified teaching credential like a PGCE or QTS, along with an Early Career Teaching Certificate (the PGCE must be supported by a subject-relevant bachelor’s degree).


In-depth subject knowledge, with substantial experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.


Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) and IGCSE, AS/A Level.


A proven track record of delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences.


A commitment to enriching the broader school community through extracurricular engagement.
