SECONDARY SCIENCE TEACHER (KS3 & KS4)
BESA is on the lookout for an exceptional Secondary Science teacher (Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4) to become part of our team starting in September 2026. This is a full-time position, initially contracted through to the end of August 2028.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a recognized qualification in Science teaching (Bachelor of Education or PGCE / UK Qualified Teacher Status is mandatory)
- Bring at least 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level, either in the UK or at a British International School
- Have a strong background in delivering the KS3 English National Curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE Double award at KS4
- Display excellent skills in planning, organization, and communication
- Be a collaborative team player
- Utilize technology effectively to enhance student learning
- Take on a leadership role within their subject area and demonstrate exemplary teaching practices
- Show a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Be a fluent speaker of English
